Só Dança began its activities in 1978, in São Paulo, Brazil, under the direction of a skilled executive, Mr. Ival Teixeira Araujo, who saw the need to evolve the dance market to meet the expectations of dancers with new and comfortable products.

Currently, the company is binational, with one factory in Brazil and two in the Dominican Republic. Together, they have almost 1,500 direct employees, in addition to having their own distributors in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Só Dança has become a reference in the dance goods industry; it is among the three biggest brands in the world, present in more than 60 countries on all continents.
